Impaired driving: Richmond Road
A South Euclid man, 49, was arrested for OVI June 12 after he was reported to be passed out in his vehicle in the Wendy’s drive-thru. He had started to drive from the business, but officers stopped his vehicle in the area.
Criminal mischief: Marrus Lane
A resident reported June 10 that someone wrote “call me” twice on his garage with a black marker. He suspected a neighbor because that man had a trailer parked on the road and he asked him to move out. Officers advised they could not do anything about the trailer because it is a private road. They did speak with the neighbor, who denied being involved with the vandalism but said he would have it removed.
Vandalism: Richmond Park Drive East
A washing machine in an apartment laundry room was found vandalized June 10. It had a cracked door, dents, and a broken drain hose. Officers suspected someone had kicked it. The estimate cost of damage was $1,600. No suspects were identified.
Menacing: Dickens Drive
A woman, 24, said June 10 that her ex-boyfriend threatened to kill her. She did not want the incident investigated because she said he was in a gang and she feared retaliation.
Domestic violence: Balmoral Drive
A Cleveland man, 38, was arrested for domestic violence, endangering children and OVI after an incident at his girlfriend’s home around 9 p.m. June 10. Officers located him at the home trying to leave the area in his truck.
Assault: Richmond Park Drive East
Officers responded to an apartment complex June 12 for a report of a large fight. Upon investigation, it was determined a woman, 20, had assaulted her boyfriend. She was charged with assault, obstructing official business and public intoxication.
Disturbance: Brookdale Road
Officers responded to a loud music complaint around 9 p.m. June 13 and found a DJ playing in a backyard. The resident thought she had been allowed to play the music until 9 p.m., but officers advised if it was over a certain decibel level, it was against the ordinance. The woman showed them what she believed to be the ordinance online, but she was looking at the city of Richmond Heights in Missouri.
Criminal damage: Loganberry Drive
A resident found two bricks had been thrown through the front windshield of her vehicle at the Loganberry Ridge apartments June 15. She believed the damage was done randomly.
Harassment: Harris Road
A resident said June 15 that she has been harassed by an unknown female since February. She said the suspect has called and threatened her and has put her name and information on dating and escort websites. Officers contacted the suspect and told her have no further contact with the resident. They advised her to do the same.
