South actor Vijay Sethupathi needs no introduction. The 44-year-old actor who turned the odds in his favour with notable performances in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Maamanithan, and Vikram this year, will essay the role of a cop in his latest Tamil release DSP. The film’s story delves into the life of a young ambitious boy, who is sent into exile after an unexpected altercation with a local goon. A few years later, he returns as a police officer, who is adamant on teaching the local goon a lesson. The Tamil revenge film directed by Ponram stars Prabhakar, Ilavarasu, Pugazh, Anukreethy Vas, and others.
