The Undertaker is set to bid goodbye to the squared circle at the upcoming Survivor Series. However, he may not be saying goodbye to WWE after all.
After they retire, numerous Superstars get involved in a backstage role in WWE. They become a backstage producer, a booker, or a manager, to name a few. Some go and train the younger talents in the Performance Centre. The Undertaker could be one of them.
In a recent interview with The Wrap, ‘The Deadman,’ revealed how he is planning to spend his “retirement.” He spoke about how he is not sure what he wants to do.
“You know, that’s the pickle that I’m in right now, is trying to [figure] out what lane I want to take. I’ve been on the road for so long, that really doesn’t appeal to me, traveling and doing all that. I love to teach. Triple H and I have had many conversations about me working with the talent there at NXT, in Orlando at the PC. And I really enjoy that.”
However, he will love to spend his time at home. A wrestler’s life is always on the road, and after thirty years, even the ‘Deadman’ needs a break. Yet, he wants to be involved in the company in some form.
“We’re just trying to figure out how it works because I’d have to come in and go out. I live in Texas. So I’m sure I will do more of that moving forward. I think there’s a lot of– I think I have a lot to offer.”
“The product is changing and evolving, but I think there’s a lot of what I bring to the table that is still applicable to the product, and these guys need to hear it and see it from somebody who has made it work. So we’ll see what happens there.”

The Undertaker will be live at Survivor Series
After thirty long years, The Undertaker will finally be at peace next Sunday. Coincidentally, his debut PPV and this year’s PPV happens on the same date. Life has indeed come full circle for the ‘Grim Reaper.’
Undertaker assured the fans that he would be live, but stopped short of revealing his role at the event. He could be announcing his retirement as well as a “Final Match.”
When asked about it, he said with a laugh, “I will definitely be at “Survivor Series.” And what I do there, there’s no telling. But I will be live at “Survivor Series.” You never know what will happen, and we’ve got a couple of weeks.”
We can’t wait for Survivor Series. As far as Taker’s new role in WWE goes, we are sure he will be exceptional in it. Besides, who would not want to learn from one of the best in the business?
