Norton Healthcare recently implemented a COVID-19 vaccine wait list for those eligible for vaccination under Kentucky state government guidelines.
Norton Healthcare set up the wait list as it became clear that demand for vaccinations far surpassed supplies. The size of the Norton Healthcare wait list does not affect vaccine allocations.
If you would like to sign up for the wait list, please visit NortonHealthcare.com. Click on the “Vaccine Eligibility” button in the red “Schedule Your Vaccine” box on the homepage. You will be asked to confirm your eligibility. If appointments are available, you’ll be able to schedule your vaccination. If current supplies have been exhausted, the appointment schedule will be closed and you’ll have an opportunity to click the “Join Waitlist” button.
The wait list follows the order of sign-ups. Those who registered first will be offered a vaccination appointment earlier than those who register later. Once you register, you will receive an email with additional information.
The Norton Healthcare wait list is separate from the former Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness “interest list.” Those who signed up for the city’s interest list are not being transferred to the Norton Healthcare wait list. If you put your name on the city’s interest list, you will still need to sign up on the Norton Healthcare list. Your place in line will depend on when you sign up with Norton Healthcare’s wait list.
Healthcare workers and those age 70 and older currently quality to receive a vaccination under state guidelines. If you have difficulty registering online, please ask a friend or family member to assist you.
Once you get your first dose, you will automatically get an appointment for your second dose.
We know there is a high demand to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and we are working hard to get everyone an appointment as supply allows.
