Chrissy Teigen jokes that LA is 'keeping it exciting' after Southern California is hit with a 4.2-magnitude earthquake

Chrissy Teigen enjoyed a bit of excitement when a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck about a mile north of the Los Angeles community of Pacoima early Thursday morning.
The model/cookbook author, 34, took to her beloved Twitter to react to the quakes.
Chrissy took an optimistic approach, tweeting: 'Anyhoo LA keeping it exciting nature is crazy.'

Shortly after the 4:30AM tremor, the Lip Sync Battle DJ tweet: 'How big was that' with two grimacing emojis.
Chrissy's sassy brand of humor was in full force in a follow-up tweet which said: 'i peed a little.' Attached were reaction tweets from fellow Angelenos actress Yvette Nicole Brown and writer/director Peyman Benz.
The wife of John Legend was surprised to learn the quake was relatively mild after the magnitude was assessed.
'4.5!!? It's always smaller than it feels,' she wrote. 'Anyhoo LA keeping it exciting, nature is crazy.'
Chrissy got another shakeup an hour later, announcing the aftershock during her Twitter session.
There were plenty of replies from fans, prompting the mother-of-two to say: 'I like our earthquake bonding!'

The 4.2 magnitude tremor rattled the region around 4:30AM. It came after a series of 3.0 or higher rattles struck the region in the past 10 days.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
Though relatively small in magnitude, the quake which struck at 4.29 am Pacific time was felt in much of the Los Angeles area, social media reports said. Pacoima is about 25 miles northwest of LA.

The quake had started out as a 4.5 magnitude, but was later downgraded.
A second quake of 3.3 magnitude struck nine minutes later, the survey said.
There has been consistent earthquake activity in the area over the past 10 days of at least a 3.0 or greater, the Los Angeles Times reported.
LA and its surrounding area average about five earthquakes between 4.0 and 5.0 every year, based on a three year sample of data.

Reactions to the quake that were posted online wrote off the tremor as harmless, and were occasion for some to laugh off the stress that was avoided from a more serious event.
Chrissy wasn't the only star to share their feelings online.
'My children are in my arms and we are awake too early because of that earthquake but now they’re discussing how their ninja skills would totally help in this time Rolling on the floor laughing,' tweeted singer Kelly Clarkson
'I’m just happy they’re more interested and curious about it and less scared. Hallelujah!' she added in the social media post.
