NORMAL, Ill. – As Illinois State football celebrates its 125th season in 2021, the Redbirds look forward an energetic atmosphere in and around Hancock Stadium.
"As we look forward to the upcoming 2021 football season, we anticipate the ability to have full capacity and tailgating at Hancock Stadium," ISU Director of Athletics Kyle Brennan said. "We continue work with the University and local and state health officials regarding public health guidelines and will collaborate to ensure a safe and fun experience for all of our Redbird fans and supporters."
Several special promotions and celebrations have been planned for the season, with more details to come throughout the rest of the summer. Here's a quick look at some of the things planned for the 2021 slate:
September 4 – Butler
• Future Redbird Day - Reggie's Kids Club members will be able to request one free member ticket
• Student t-shirt giveaway as a part of the month-long SHIRTember promotion for current ISU students
• Halftime fireworks
October 2 – Missouri State
• Family Weekend at ISU
• Family tickets are available via presale beginning June 1, 2021 and game tickets must be purchased to access and purchase parking passes.
• Agriculture Day presented by Case IH
• Youth Cheer Clinic open to kids 4-12 years of age
October 16 – North Dakota State
• 100th Illinois State University Homecoming Celebration
November 6 – UNI
• Military Appreciation Game
• Student replica football jersey giveaway
November 20 – Indiana State
• Senior Day
Redbird Football season tickets are on sale NOW, with special rates available for young alumni, youth and ISU faculty and staff. Partial season ticket plans will be on sale early this summer and single-game tickets will be available to the public starting Tuesday, July 27.
