Even with the excitement, Schulz says that the pandemic is still having a very big and very real impact. He's not expecting the fair's closing weekend to reach 2019 attendance levels, but says there was still a lot this year to be proud of.
Even with a slight drop in the overall number of people, as compared to 2019, those coming to the fair stay that it's one tradition that means so much.
