Just Getting Started: Exciting new modes of transportation
Cheryl Stacks, the city's transportation manager, talks with Dr. Tomalin about the upcoming electric scooter pilot program, scheduled for 18 months and then subject to review. The program will launch in late September or early October. They also discuss the Sunrunner BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) line between downtown and St. Pete Beach, and the city's Complete Streets initiative, which plans, designs and adapts St. Petersburg thoroughfares and transportation with an eye towards the future.
