Fear the Walking Dead may have just returned to screens with a shocking midseason premiere, but the horror series isn't letting up – production on season seven has now begun!
A behind-the-scenes picture (below) posted on the show's social media accounts on Thursday (April 15) revealed that filming on the new episodes has got underway.
And it looks like season 7 episode 3 will be directed by Ron Underwood, who previously worked on season 5's '210 Words Per Minute' and season 6's 'The Key'.

Last week's dramatic midseason premiere featured the death of John Dorie at the hands of Virginia's sister Dakota, after John discovered Dakota was the one who murdered Cameron.
In new pictures previewing season 6 episode 9, Morgan and Virginia's feud reaches a possible climax, while a distraight June is seen burying her husband.
However, Garret Dillahunt – the actor who played John – has already landed his next role, joining the cast of the upcoming adaptation of Delia Owens' best-selling novel Where the Crawdads Sing.

Speaking about his character's exit from Fear the Walking Dead, Dillahunt said: "They came up with this great idea – great, and tragic, and wonderful, and believable in this world for how to get him off the show. And, at the same time, propel the story forward."
"I'm real excited for what the future holds, and I'm real happy," he added. "And I'm really excited to stay in touch with the fans... John will always exist. And he was a great character. I was honoured to play him."
Fear the Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and on AMC UK in the UK.
