Walt Disney World is one of the most popular vacation destinations around the world. In fact, during the summer months, crowds tend to pour into the theme parks, causing long wait times for certain attractions.
However, as of late, we have noticed low wait times at the Walt Disney World Parks.

For example, on the morning of August 29, not a single ride had a wait time longer than an hour! Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest, Splash Mountain, and other popular rides were all only 5-minute waits!
Other rides, such as Haunted Mansion, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Space Mountain posted a 10-minute wait.
There are some attractions that had slightly longer wait times, including Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Jungle Cruise, Flight of Passage, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, but none of the Disney World rides posted a wait time longer than one hour — which is pretty rare!
It is important to keep in mind that wait times will continue to change throughout the day and for the most up-to-date information, make sure you download the My Disney Experience app to your smartphone.
Additionally, Disney CEO Bob Chapek confirmed that the theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom — have already started increasing capacity once again, which could result in longer wait times at select attractions.
At this time, we do not know exactly what percentage of capacity Disney World is operating at, but we know it is higher than 35%.
