SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Last night’s thunderstorms moved to the east by early Wednesday morning leaving us with highs mostly in the 80s.
Most of the storms last night were not severe but we did see some winds gust to over 50 miles per hour across the region.
It was still humid Wednesday afternoon but dew points did come down for most of us compared to what we saw on Tuesday.
Skies will stay mostly clear tonight and lows will be getting into the upper 60s and we can’t rule out a bit of patchy fog.
We’re then going to expect plenty of sunshine for Thursday with highs a bit above average again as we hit the upper 80s to lower 90s.
The heat will continue into Friday and Saturday and we could see a slight chance of a thunderstorm both days.
I'll have more details on the 4th of July weekend forecast tonight on News 4 at 5, 6, and 10.
